Madoc went on to win his crown at Scottish Pekingese Association Ch Show in October 2014.

1st Palacegarden Madoc. There is so much to like about this handsome male, particularly on handling. He has a fabulous solid body, level back, well barrelled ribcage, his whole outline is well balanced, good tailset. Excellent bone, short, thick front legs that are set well under his body, excellent width of chest, strong hindquarters. His head is masculine with quality, flat top skull, well placed ears, dark expressive eyes, excellent pigmentation, good nose leather with good width of nostrils and good width of underjaw. CC & BOB. I understand this was his 2nd CC. He well deserves to win his crown’.

Super head, coat & movement. He has ring presence & there is no question he is masculine, leonine & proud. I moved him quite a lot and he never let his handler down. His tail was carried over his back at all times. A fawn brindle with just the right amount of coat of excellent texture and superb muscled body & great legs & feet. Every time I looked him in his dark eyes set in his wide black muzzle he looked straight back at me & wagged his tail. I was pleased to give him the CC & BIS. It was pleasing to see some of his progeny were in the cards today’.
